Operating Room Nurse
NIH
I came to the U.S.A. in 2005 and got into the Nursing program at Anne Arundel Community College, Maryland in 2006. I graduated in 2009 as a Registered Nurse and worked at Baltimore Washington Medical Center (BWMC), Maryland from 2009 to 2015 as a Medical-Surgical nurse for a ICU, telemetry step down Unit. In 2016 after I had two children, I decided to join the OR at the BWMC until I joined the OR at the National Institutes of Health, Maryland at the end of 2016.
Since I have been working in the OR at the NIH, I have gained my clinical skill and expertise for the OR and obtained my CNOR in 2021. I have also been the Thoracic Surgery specialist in the past and currently is the Neurosurgery specialist.
I enjoyed music, walking, and especially love cooking. I have a devoted husband and two lovely children, a 10 years old son and a 9 years old daughter. My husband is the reason for everything that I have today and my children is the energy of my life.
