Beatrice Forlizzi is a registered nurse for over 30 years with a variety of experiences, including acute care, and wound ostomy continence nursing. She has been aboard certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse since 2008, and has presented at various conferences and has numerous poster presentations
She has worked at St. Vincent’s Medical Center (1989-1990), New York Presbyterian Hospital, Weill Cornell Medical Center from (1990-2017), and & currently employed at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center NYC, NY as a Wound & Ostomy Clinical Nurse Specialist.
Beatrice provides comprehensive patient care in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. She leads nursing care through policy development and staff training. Beatrice is dedicated to improving pressure injury preventative care and quality of life for the ostomy care population. Beatrice currently runs the Skin care prevention meetings and oversee evidence-based practice as it pertains to skin integrity and ostomy care.
