Sara Angelilli DNP, MS, RN, CNOR, NPD-BC currently serves as the Director of Nursing Education and Professional Practice for perioperative, procedural, and para-professional education at Allegheny Health Network. This role includes oversight of 9 hospitals and 8 ambulatory surgery/procedural centers. Sara received her Doctoral degree with a specialization in Nursing Administration and dual master's degrees in Nursing Education and Leadership and Industrial and Organizational Psychology. She is dual-certified in Perioperative Nursing and Nursing Professional Development. Sara has been published for her research on elastomeric respirator use during the pandemic and is actively involved with AORN at the local and national level.
