Michelle Lemmons has over 10 years of healthcare experience and has worked in nearly every aspect of the patient experience, including admissions, surgery, acute care, and post-acute care. She has over 8 years of nursing experience, including more than 2 years as an Operating Room (OR) nurse on the Cardiovascular/Thoracic/General team at the University of Minnesota.
In 2020 Michelle became the OR Clinical Educator for Key Surgical, a Steris company. In 2022 she transitioned into Filed Sales Team Training Manager: Surgical Solutions at Steris. She plays an active role in the surgical industry by working with perioperative professionals to share, develop, and implement best practices to improve patient outcomes and reduce healthcare-associated infections as well as participating in speaking engagements around the United States.
In 2022 Michelle joined an OR Department as an OR staff nurse to continue to enhance her experience and connection with OR Professionals and patients. Michelle is an active member of IAHCSMM and AORN.
