Renae N. Battié, MN, RN, CNOR, is currently the Vice President of Nursing for AORN. Previously, she was the Vice President for Perioperative Services at CHI Health, responsible for coordination and strategy for the perioperative departments across their multiple hospitals in the greater Nebraska area. Her previous roles were in academic and private nonprofit multi-campus systems. She has experience in specialty team development, OR design/construction, surgical information system implementation and just culture. She received the AORN Award for Outstanding Achievement in Perioperative Nursing Management in 2010. She served from 2010-2016 on the national AORN Board of Directors, and was the 2015-2016 AORN President.
