Tim Nesmith is an Associate Chief Nursing Officer for Perioperative and Interventional Services for Lahey Hospital and Medical Center. His primary responsibility in the organization is planning, directing, developing, maintaining, organizing, and evaluating perioperative and procedural nursing services. Tim works very closely with surgeon/proceduralists, anesthesia, and organizational leadership to insure safe and efficient services across the patient care continuum.
Tim graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with a Master’s degree in Management, Healthcare Administration and from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. He holds a professional certification of Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR). Tim is a board member for the Healthtrust Surgical Advisory Board.
