Nurse Manager

Graduated with BSN from Kent State University in 1985 and immediately began working in Critical Care. Moved from staff nurse to charge nurse in the critical care setting. In 1987 accepted a position as a Nurse Manager for DaVita in Northern Virginia where I worked for the next 9 years. Spent two different 3 year periods living overseas, and during that time earned my Master's Degree. When I returned to the US, I worked for 3 years as a Case Manager, building a Case Management program for an affiliate of the INOVA Health System. In 2006 I joined the ASC world and managed 2 different ASC units for Lifeline Vascular Access. In 2019 I moved to SCA and became Director of Nursing at Dublin Surgery Center. In 2021 I accepted the job of Nurse Manager for the Same Day OR and PACU team at THE Ohio State University. In 2022 my responsibilities expanded to include oversight of the OR Float Pool team. Additionally, I achieved certification as a Nurse Executive (NE-BC) through AACN.
