Cera Salamone, MSN, RN, NE-BC, CNOR, HACP is an Experienced Perioperative Nurse Leader with a demonstrated history of working in the hospital & health care industry. Skilled in Communication, Team Building, Organization Skills, Healthcare Management, Project Management, and Patient Safety. She is passionate about data driven decisions while keeping a focus on the art of nursing and staying in touch with the human side of healthcare. She is a highly experienced perioperative nurse leader with over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Throughout her career, she have developed a deep understanding of the complexities of managing patient care in the operating room, and has demonstrated a commitment to excellence in all aspects of her work.
Cera has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of Phoenix and a Master of Science in Nursing from Aspen University. She has worked in a variety of perioperative and general nursing roles, including staff nurse, charge nurse, coordinator and clinical nurse educator, before transitioning into a leadership position.
In their current role as a perioperative nurse leader, Cera is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the perioperative unit, ensuring that patient care is delivered safely, efficiently, and with the highest quality. She collaborates with physicians, and multidiscplinary teams to develop and implement best practices in the operating room and across perioperative services.
Cera is a respected leader in the field of perioperative nursing and has presented at numerous conferences and events. She is a member of the Association of Perioperative Registered Nurses (AORN) and the Association of California Nurse Leaders (ACNL).
