Terry is the Nurse Manager for the Neurosurgery, Orthopedic, Trauma, Transplant, Neuro-Interventional Radiology, Oncology, and Reconstructive and Robotic services of the Johns Hopkins Hospital operating rooms.
Terry began her educational journey as a diploma nurse from the Maryland General School of Nursing in Baltimore, MD, in 1986. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Delaware in 2007 and a Master in Nursing Health Administration in 2012. Terry is a member of the Association of Operating Room Nurse, Sigma Theta Tau Xi-Beta Chapter, Sigma Theta Tau Nu-Eta Chapter, has held specialty certifications, CNOR since 1993, and Nurse Executive Advanced Board Certified accreditation since 2018. She completed her DNP journey at Drexel University in 2021, focusing on self-efficacy and speaking up for patient safety. Her nursing practice is committed to facilitating the needs of her teams, her colleagues, and her leadership to improve patient care.
