Practices. She is a specialist in Clinical Research from Harvard Medical School and is a specialist in Applied
Human Physiology, Pro-oxidative Therapies and Ozonetherapy, Biomedical Engineering, and Medical
Clinical Nursing. She has 20 years of experience in Perioperative Nursing, patient safety, safety surgery,
best practices in positioning, and evidence-based practice. She is the author of the ELPO Scale and the
ELPO App that is used in 10 countries to guide nurses in assessing and caring for surgical patients.
